How we collect, store, process, and delete data generated through the AlignmentStick platform.

#1. Data Ownership

All data entered into the AlignmentStick platform is owned by the organization or team using the Service.

  • Tasks, metadata, submissions, and completion photos.
  • Department structure and user account info.

AlignmentStick does not claim ownership of customer data.

#2. Types of Data Processed

Identity
Account & IdentityName, email, role, department.
Tasks
Operational Task DataTitles, descriptions, assignments, due dates, status.
Proof
Submission & ProofUploaded photos, notes, timestamps, review metadata.
Meta
Technical MetadataDevice info, IP address (for security).

#3. Data Usage

#4. Data Access Controls

Access is governed by role-based permissions (Manager vs Employee). AlignmentStick internal access is limited to administrative/security purposes. Data is logically isolated by organization.

#5. Data Storage & Security

We use third-party providers (e.g., Firebase) with encryption in transit/at rest, authentication controls, and organization-scoped isolation.

#6. Data Retention

  • Operational Data: Retained as long as the account is active.
  • Photos: Retained temporarily for verification or deleted based on retention policies.
  • Deleted Accounts: Access removed immediately; data deleted/anonymized after a reasonable period.

#7. Data Deletion Requests

Organizations may request data deletion by contacting support.

#8. Data Sharing

Shared only within the organization or with necessary infrastructure providers. No marketing sharing.
